GACL Financial results for the first quarter ended 30th June 2022


VADODARA, India, Aug. 5, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Board of Directors of Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL) at its Meeting held at Gandhinagar on 4th August 2022 has approved the financial results for the first quarter ended 30th June 2022. Despite aggressive competition and the volatile market conditions prevailing during the quarter ended 30th June 2022, the Company could achieve the Sales Turnover of Rs. 1,106.62 Crores as against Rs.701.88 Crores, the Sales Turnover during the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the first quarter of Financial Year 2022-23 stands at Rs.336.26 Crores as against Rs.93.12 Crores, PBT pertaining to the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Profit After Tax (PAT) for the first quarter of Financial Year 2022-23 stands at Rs.222.07 Crores as against Rs.63.50 Crores, PAT for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
