Taapsee Pannu slams netizen who questioned why she voted in Delhi: YOU are no one to tell me what I SHOULD do and what I SHOULD NOT! | Hindi Movie News

Taapsee Pannu stepped out early to vote today in the Delhi assembly elections with her family. Soon after she posted a picture on social media flaunting her inked finger and asked her followers if they had exercised their right of voting. Soon a social media user question why the actress living in Mumbai decides for those living in Delhi and that she should get her voting rights shifted to Mumbai.

Slamming the user with a powerful response, Taapsee stated, “I am living in Delhi as much if not more than Mumbai. My income is taxed through Delhi and I am more of a Delhite than a lot of others who might just be living here but probably don’t contribute. Kindly don’t question my citizenship, worry about yours n your contribution to it. And also to add, you can take a girl out of Delhi but you can not take Delhi out of this girl. And YOU are no one to tell me what I SHOULD do and what I SHOULD NOT! I guess this response will be enough to tell u how much of a Delhiite I am.” Taapsee Pannu had travelled to Delhi yesterday with her mother and had shared a selfie from the flight stating that she is going to vote in the Assembly elections.

On the work front, Taapsee will be seen delivering an equally powerful performance with ‘Thappad’. THe film’s trailer spoke about a hard-hitting message of not tolerating violence in a relationship. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, ‘Thappad’ is slated to hit the screens on February 28.
